October Comedy Guide

Every Friday night at midnight, a collective of Philadelphia’s most bizarrely fascinating comedic minds brings you a brand new, fast-paced comedy show featuring live music and special guests! Just five bucks a pop and each week’s show is a completely different experience. Not to be missed.

This month on National Mental Health Awareness Day, put a positive spin on your troubled mind through dance routines and sexual awakenings! Featuring burlesque from Liberty Rose, Honeytree EvilEye & Lulu Blue, plus comedy, videos, dance and more. Hosted by Libby Reindl & Shannon Fahey.

We’re celebrating our one-year anniversary the only way we know how – with an overly ambitious clusterfuck nightmare show of epic proportions! We’re cramming miniature versions of TWENTY-ONE of Good Good’s favorite monthly and weekly shows into 90 minutes of non-stop entertainment. Hosted by Good Good co-founders Aaron Nevins & Kate Banford and featuring a star-studded lineup of special guests.

On a very special edition of Talkmasters, comedians Jon DelCollo & Andrew Copolla go head-to-head in a debate over John Mayer – his music, his comedy, his personal life, his hair, his body and more. Plus a special performance from Michael S. Watkins! And as always, a crew of comics write a personalized speech and presentation for one lucky audience member to perform at the end of the show. Hosted by Kate Banford.

Two of our favorite comedians return to Good Good Comedy Theatre by popular demand for an evening of stand-up comedy. Samantha Ruddy is a contributing writer for Reductress and was recently named one of Brooklyn’s 50 Funniest People by Brooklyn Magazine. She has performed in the New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest and Bridgetown Comedy Festival. Dina Hashem was a competitor on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle and her writing has been featured on Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and TV Land.

Your charming host Molly Hanulec (inviting along stylists and fashion victims alike) takes guests by the hand and jerks them out of the closet…with a brand new look they can’t say no to! This month’s show features: Michael S. Watkins, Rose Luardo, Kip Lacomb, Sarah Bell & more.

Returning favorite Kyle Ayers (Comedy Central) is back in Philly with a special Halloween edition of his popular NYC comedy show Never Seen It. Comedians Doogie Horner, Caitlin Feeney & Matt Schmid rewrite famous horror films that they’ve NEVER SEEN and perform them for you LIVE. This Halloween weekend, they’ll be presenting blind interpretations of The Blair Witch Project, Saw V and The Final Destination.

Spend your Halloween with a lineup of over 30 of the most famous comedians of all time – living and dead – as ripped off by the comedians of Philadelphia. The material is guaranteed to kill. This costume party will be so much fun it’s scary. Hosted by Charles Blyzniuk & Alex Grubard.

This is a 6-week class on understanding and creating sketch comedy (the sort seen on Saturday Night Live, Chappelle’s Show, or Inside Amy Schumer) taught by Sean Keegan-Landis. Throughout the course, you will develop multiple skills related to dissecting and drafting sketches. Each week, you will analyze existing sketches, learn techniques for developing, pitching, and fleshing out sketch ideas, as well as create and revise full sketches that are workshopped in class.
