Jaboukie Young-White is a comedian, writer and actor who has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, HBO’s Crashing and in the films Rough Night and Set It Up. Jaboukie has written for the Netflix series Big Mouth and American Vandal. Over the past year, he was named a Comic To Watch by Variety, Rolling Stone, Vulture and The Hollywood Reporter.


Brody Stevens is an LA-based stand-up comedian and actor. He starred in the Comedy Central series Brody Stevens: Enjoy It!, co-created by Zach Galifianakis. Brody’s TV credits include Conan, Adventure Time, Kroll Show, Childrens Hospital, Comedy Bang! Bang! and many more, and he has appeared in the films The Hangover, The Hangover Part II, Due Date, I Am Comic and was cut out of Funny People. YES!


Longtime Good Good favorite Whitmer Thomas makes a very special trip to Philly to run his new live show The Golden One, an hour of stand-up and music about his dumbass life! Whitmer has appeared on GLOW, The Walking Dead, Workaholics, You’re The Worst and starred in and executive produced the FXX animated series Stone Quackers. He is one of the founders of the acclaimed LA comedy collective Power Violence, who have been named Comedians To Watch by LA Weekly and TimeOut LA. With special guest Mitra Jouhari (Broad City, High Maintenance).



James Adomian is a comedian and actor best known for his incredible impressions, including Sebastian Gorka, Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura, Huell Howser and Bernie Sanders, who he portrayed to wide acclaim on the 2016 Trump vs. Bernie tour and TV special. James’ long list of TV credits include numerous appearances on BoJack Horseman, The Venture Bros., The Eric Andre Show and Conan. James is also a frequent guest on popular podcasts like Chapo Trap House, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Harmontown, The Dollop, You Made It Weird and more.


DJ Douggpound is a comedian, writer and editor who frequently collaborates with Tim and Eric, including Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show, Great Job!, Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule, Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie. Dougg is also known for his work on Portlandia and The Eric Andre Show. Brent Weinbach is a stand-up comedian and actor who has performed stand-up on Conan, The Meltdown with Jonah & Kumail, Viceland’s Flophouse and his own hourlong special Appealing To The Mainstream. His TV credits include Adventure Time, Corporate, Another Period, Kroll Show, Comedy Bang! Bang! and Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories. Brent was a writer for The Eric Andre Show.

Langston Kerman is an LA-based comedian, writer and actor. He plays Jered on HBO’s Insecure and has appeared on High Maintenance, Comedy Bang! Bang, Adam Devine’s House Party, the Seth Rogen/Evan Goldberg pilot Singularity and his own Comedy Central half hour special. Langston was part of Chris Rock’s writing staff for the 2016 Oscars. He also wrote for Problematic with Moshe Kasher and the upcoming Comedy Central series South Side. His debut album Lightskinned Feelings was released this month on Comedy Central Records.


Anna Drezen is an NYC-based stand-up comedian, as well as an Emmy-nominated and WGA Award-winning writer for Saturday Night Live. She is also the Editor-at-Large of Reductress, the wildly popular satirical women’s magazine. In 2017, Anna was on Comedy Central’s list of 8 Comedians You Need To Look Out For and has appeared at Comedy Central’s Colossal Clusterfest. She co-authored the books Reductress: How To Win At Feminism and How May We Hate You?


Mekki Leeper returns to Philly from LA to perform a live version of his new Comedy Central project Control Room – a social experiment show where he’s locked in a room for a week and must complete a secret mission using social media, favors from friends, and Craigslist strangers.


Brendon Walsh is a stand-up comedian who has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan, The Late Late Show, Drunk History, Another Period, Comedy Bang! Bang! and his own Comedy Central half hour special. Brendon has performed at numerous festivals including South By Southwest, Tig Notaro’s Bentzen Ball, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. He was the host of the popular podcasts Do You Know Who Jason Segel Is? and The Bone Zone.



In this six-week class with Shannon Fahey, you will learn how to perform “game” or finding what’s funny in a scene, second beats, and heightening a scene to its full comedic potential. Students will also focus on creating engaging relationship driven comedic scenes that are sustainable and memorable.
