When Jon Gabrus and Lauren Lapkus were growing up, they watched a lot of TV. Like, a LOT of TV. Now adults with minds hopelessly warped by television, they’ve come together to indulge their shared obsession. On Raised By TV, Jon and Lauren revisit the best and worst TV of the late 80s and early 90s – everything from game shows and TGIF to Oprah and cereal commercials. Lauren Lapkus is an Emmy-nominated and SAG Award-winning actress and comedian, known for recurring roles on Orange Is The New Black, Crashing on HBO and The Big Bang Theory on CBS, as well as appearances in films including Jurassic World, Holmes & Watson & the upcoming film The Unicorn, in which she stars. She hosts the popular podcasts Raised By TV, With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus, Threedom & Wild Horses. Other TV credits include Bob’s Burgers, Drunk History, Key & Peele, Adventure Time and many others. She is also a frequent guest on the popular podcast Comedy Bang! Bang!.

Jon Gabrus is an actor and comedian who hosts the popular podcasts Raised By TV and High & Mighty. His many TV credits include Big Mouth, 30 Rock, Guy Code, Drunk History, Adam Ruins Everything, Workaholics, Happy Endings, Animals and Another Period. He has also appeared in the films The Little Hours, Awful Nice, 4th Man Out, Flock of Dudes and Game Over, Man! Jon is also beloved for his frequent appearances on podcasts like Comedy Bang! Bang!, Improv4Humans, Doughboys, Hollywood Handbook, Why Won’t You Date Me?, If I Were You, Getting Doug with High, Off Book, Las Culturistas and many others. He was named one of Vulture’s 50 Comedians You Should Know.
