Our acclaimed and long-running Five Dollar Comedy Week festival is back, premiering 30 brand new, original comedy shows. See a week’s worth of experimental new shows, bizarre weekend workshops, late-night secret shows and more. And the best part – each one is only FIVE BUCKS!

Once a month, we tap one of our favorite Philadelphia comedians to do a full hour set for the first time ever. This month: the hilarious Carolyn Busa, host of the popular NYC show Side Ponytail, with opener Ben Wasserman.

Last month, Julio Torres (Emmy-nominated SNL writer, The Tonight Show correspondent) returned to Good Good and sold out THREE performances of his acclaimed show My Favorite Shapes. This month, he’s coming BACK for one more encore performance! In this multimedia comedy show, Julio Torres guides us through his favorite shapes, which include a plexiglass square, a triangle, a sphere, a self-conscious Faberge egg, a Ferrero Rocher chocolate that reminds him of Melania Trump and more.

It’s the highly anticipated third annual 4/20 edition of Weeding Out The Stoned! Two shows – both completely different. Sixteen comedians enter. All but one of them are stoned. It’s up to all of us to find the sober individual so the entire audience can win prizes.

Chicago’s favorite monthly freak show is coming to horrify Philly! Helltrap Nightmare is a showcase of experimental comedy, performance art, video art, music, noise, horror, terror, intestines, slime, bubbling cauldrons of guts, bags of real live pubes, and maybe even some real live worms! Recently named Best Underground Comedy Show in Chicago by Chicago Magazine and “some truly off-kilter shit” by LA Weekly. Hosted by Sarah Squirm.

Jamie Loftus (Comedy Central, Super Deluxe) lost her virginity on August 15, 2010 and won’t shut up about it. She’s written a play that’s co-hosted by the man she lost her virginity to (sorry, Steven) and engages in a series of doll sex simulations, meat penises and full-on splash zones in order to recreate the event over and over until she emerges victorious over virginity, latex allergies, and hormones altogether.

Riverdale LIVE is a sultry solo sketch show starring John Trowbridge and Sophie Santos, but featuring Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Archie’s Dad, The South Side Serpents, and the rest of Riverdale’s hottest! Narrated by Jughead Jones. In Philly from NYC for one night only!

Robert Dean is a New York City based stand-up comedian and Comedy Central Comic To Watch. He has been featured on WNYC’s 2 Dope Queens Podcast, AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, on Comedy Central’s Half Hour as Sexy Abraham Lincoln Lobster Man. His debut album (It’s Not Easy) Being Dean is out on Sure Thing Records and was recorded at 2017’s New York Comedy Festival.
